Workin’ for a Livin’
People always ask us what we do for a living. We, like most tiny house owners, are self employed. We own a media company who designs everything our clients need to help them look BIG on the outside. We shoot videos & photos with our cool cameras, phones & drones in 6k & 4k technology, then we edit and post on our client’s websites and social media accounts. We have clients all over the country! As we travel, we meet so many people who are bogged down by bad websites, people who promised them a website, took their money and never delivered, websites that have old information on them… And the business owners become stuck because they don’t know HOW to fix their site and sometimes they don’t even know WHO to call to fix it. That’s where we come in. As a privately owned business, we do all the work ourselves, from shooting the videos & photos to editing, to creating the website, to creating the social media profiles… then branding all of it so they look they’ve really got it all together! We have so much fun watching the online presence of our clients grow and become so relevant.
Today, we did video & photo coverage of a St. Patrick’s Day parade! It’s a little early for St. Patrick’s Day (in my humble opinion), but this town is serious about their Irish green heritage so they start the month off celebrating! Our awesome client, The Hog Wild (in Midlothian, Illinois – awesome pork chops, amazing food, super cool people – shameless plug) had their BBQ Ambulance pulling their Hog Wild bass boat in the parade! Complete with a big pig mascot and a fun leprechaun, they had a blast tossing coins to the kids and handing out prize tickets. We were there to capture the whole thing. After I’m done writing this, I’ll edit a video with set to an Irish jig and post the fun shenanigans on their social media sites as well as their Brag Book area on their website. Such a fun job to have!!
I just have to say… What a blessing it is to work with my Big Honey every day. We have fun doing what we do. We always say “between me & my honey, we have everything!”
